I am an HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) and BPS (British Psychological Society) registered Counselling Psychologist and accredited Clinical Supervisor, and a UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) and UPCA (Universities Psychotherapy and Counselling Association) accredited Existential Psychotherapist. I am also an Associate Fellow within the British Psychological Society. I hold a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy, a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education, a BSc(Hons) in Psychology and an Advanced Diploma in Social Sciences.
Throughout my professional experiences thus far, I have held various clinical, organisational, research and leadership positions in the NHS, the Social Care Services, the Department for Education, the Higher Education, the Local Government and Charity Sectors. I have been trained and have particular interests in play therapy, psychodrama, family work, and intersubjective approaches to severe distress. Aside from my clinical work, academically I am also acting as the Professional Practice Lead for the Doctorate in Counselling Psychology at Regent's University London where I also hold an Assistant Professor position.
